The Project
The Meridian Chamber of Commerce, a member organization formed in 1958, came to Tuuti to organize their annual golf tournament fundraiser, manage communication with sponsors and golfers, promote their event, and execute the day of. They needed to keep within a set budget while expanding the scope of the tournament to even more participants.
The Solution
Tuuti tackled all the planning for the Meridian Chamber Golf Tournament, which included the following:
- Catering for attendees and volunteers
- Communicating with the golfer participants
- Coordinating volunteers
- Facilitating the arrangement of swag bags
- Managing 25 sponsorships
- Managing raffle items
- Designing and printing golfer booklets and instruction packets for games
- Overseeing the auction tool setup and management
- Coordinating photographer onsite
In addition to all the day-to-day operations that go into event planning, the Tuuti Team took it a step further by adding in fun elements to enhance the experience for attendees. We introduced engaging fundraising games, meticulously planned and executed a raffle, and created upsell opportunities for golfers. To capture the essence of the event, we also brought in an onsite photographer who provided the Chamber with high-quality photos and videos post-event to promote next year’s tournament. The end result was a successful event, all within the scope of work and budget, and exceeding the Chamber’s goals with a grand total of $65,000 raised!
